....its been an interesting journey to where I am now...and I never imagined a neck injury would lead me to not only a new career but down a rabbit hole of adventure and racing!  I started life as a Close Protection Officer whose main watersport was surfing...after a horse riding accident I was no longer fit to work or able to surf...totally fed up on holiday in Portugal which I was supposed to be surfing I picked up a paddle...I wont lie I didnt love it right away it was too windy and not on the sea so what was the point haha..coming back to the UK I tried it again on the North Norfolk Coast back in 2015 and fell in love!....skip forward to now and I run a wonderful little SUP School coaching absolute beginners all the way up to some of the UK's top racers and endurance athletes.  Have completed some fun firsts being the first woman to cross the wash unsupported...the first person to paddle clockwise from John O'Groats to Wick...to paddling and running from the Norfolk Boarder to the Suffolk Boarder....to recently becoming a Guiness World Record holder for the fastest person to cross the North Channel (Northern Ireland to Scotland) and first woman to do so and taking an hour and fourty mins off the mens record...(ok so this is making me cringe I dont like talking about my achievements but I keep getting told I need to haha)...I have training with some of the worlds top athletes so have a deep knowledge of not only paddleboarding but also fitness...I also love SUP Racing and have competed nationally and international and have been lucky enough to of podiumed both at home and abroad...I love the ocean from swimming to outrigger canoing and thankfully now back surfing (which was my first love)...and you can often see me doing a beach clean at Cley my favorite place to watch the sunset!
